Spring Break Update
I just posted information on the HMBA and MTBR forums. For all of those who are coming from those forums, welcome! I hope you find what you need. If not, leave a comment on Facebook or here in the comment section.
I am going to be working on some advertisements to have when I get back from spring break. I am going to try to hit the main bike racks on campus. I may even make little "business cards" up to put on the nice mountain bikes I see around. Further thoughts?

Pass The Torch
Hey everyone! My name is John and I will be picking up the torch from the soon to graduate/graduated Eric and Leah. Thanks Eric, Leah, and everyone else who was involved.
First, I just want to introduce myself. I have been mountain biking seriously for around 2 years. It is one of my life passions. I mainly mountain bike, but I scoot around town and campus on a road bike. If you see a kid on a white 80s Takara road bike with fenders, that is probably me. I am laid back and look forward to working with everyone to have fun on the trails.
As far as the club goes, I will continue with the laid back atmosphere of the past and keep riding to a maximum and meetings to a minimum. I aim to keep it simple and accessible for everyone. The goal is to basically just gather up a good group of people to ride and have fun with. I figure some trail maintenance here and there won't hurt. I will be talking with some of the local trails people about that. I am looking at possibly collaborating with the IU Outdoor Association. Otherwise, I am open to anything and everything.
I plan to send out some more information soon, but I wanted to introduce myself and see if we could get a ride in this wonderful spring weekend (3/6-3/7). It is supposed to be 50+ degrees on Saturday. I am going to try to head out to Wapehani. The only issue is I have to check and see if the trails are dry enough. If you are interested, just post up on the Facebook group wall a good time for you. I'll figure out and settle on a time.
With all that in mind, I hope to see everyone out on the trails. Happy mountain biking!
